Model 6 Mid Century Accent Chair
The Model 6 Mid Century Accent Chair is designed as a neat accent piece for more compact spaces Inspired by the classic Mid Century archetypes of the 1951 Festival of Britain era, this would sit as comfortably in a living room as bedroom space. Perfect as a stand alone or when sat together with our loveseat and footstool of the same design.
Featuring a continuous curved back and sides, the organic shaping of this piece is created from a carefully formed solid hardwood frame. Both glued and screwed with careful foam forming to ensure a softness across the frame, the construction is designed to withstand contract as well as domestic use.
The fixed seat it formed from high density foam, designed to offer both comfort and durability over time. The gently angled back, featuring classic panelled buttoning, holds the sitter in perfect recline whether reading or relaxing.

Bespoke fabrics can be accommodated on request. Choose from natural or dark stained solid oak legs, which have been designed to co-ordinate with our Collection 1 occasional tables.

Frame/Material Construction
All our frames are handmade from solid hardwood that is carefully selected from traceable and sustainable sources. They are stapled, screwed and glued to ensure secure joints and long lasting durability. The Model 6 frame is additionally ‘carded’ to form the organic continuous curve inherent to this design.
The seat platform is comprised of a full Zig-Zag sprung platform for added flexibility and optimum comfort. The frame is then covered with a resilient profiled foam wrapped in a soft layer of polyester fibre.
Legs
All our Upholstery is available in a choice of natural or dark stained solid oak legs. Each option is finished in a clear natural lacquer to provide the level of durability required.
Please note that legs are bagged separately for delivery, to prevent damage in transit and for ease of navigation through entrances and doorways. All legs are unpacked and fitted by our 2 man delivery team as standard.
Care Instructions
All of our Upholstery models should be professionally dry cleaned by a qualified professional. Minor stains can be removed with the careful use of a clean damp cloth, followed by blotting with a clean dry, lint free cloth,
